Means we don't need a needle and thread to join our comments together. You comment, I reply, someone else comments, I reply to their comment, they reply to YOUR comment etc instead of just one long list in date order :) Wordpress has had it for ages and so have other blogs and forums :)

Thanks for stopping by Linda :) I used to use tea to dye beads and always loved the tone so I started using it over the white primer to kill the brightness and fell in love! It was just a short hop to dipping my brush in the jar and seeing what else it would do! I thought I might try rosehip tea next month...

It's curious you should think of batik because I've realised lately that one of the kinds of art I most like to look at is textiles and I think of the inter-connecting lines in these images as my version of a sewing a quilt. Now you mention it though, I can see batik as well :)
